The leigh howard stevens series LS20 hard yarn marimba mallet's are hand crafted to produce purest sound with least amount of attack. Used in original packaging Malletech leigh howard stevens LS20 medium very hard birch marimba mallet's i'm a former Broadway pit musician. In nearly any octave, the LS20 projects and delivers bright sound when played above mezzo forte. In fact, I only needed three mallet's for the gig so one of these is brand spanking new.
I picked these up about 15 years ago to use on Fosse. Long birch handles are used on the stevens mallet's to equip players with power and control.
